MINISTRY OF HIGHWAYS AND ROAD DEVELOPMENT

Second Integrated Road Investment Program

 

The second Integrated Road Investment program implemented under the Ministry of Highways and Road Development with funding through the Asian Development Bank intends to improve/rehabilitate and maintain about 846km of rural roads in Eastern Province.

The project management unit of the program established in accordance with the Management services circular No.01/2016 of the Treasury hereby invites applications from citizens of sri lanka who fulfill the necessary qualification requirements for the following positions.

  1. Senior Environment Officers -01 position
  2. Senior Social Safeguard officer- 01 position
  3. Environmental officer- 01 position
  4. Social officer-01 position
  5. Project Secretary -01 position

 

 

Senior Environment Officers /Senior Social Safeguard officer

Required Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s Degree in the relevant field which is recognized by the university Grants Commission.

Or

A certificate of proficiency not below the National Vocational Qulification 07 , issued by a Technical/Vocational Training Institute accepted by Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission for a post related to Technical field.

AND

At least 05 years experience in the required area of specialization.

  • A certificate of proficiency not below the National Vocational Qulification 06 , issued by a Technical/Vocational Training Institute accepted by Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission for a post related to Technical field.

AND

At least 10 years experience in the required area of specialization.

 

  • A certificate of proficiency not below the National Vocational Qulification 05 , issued by a Technical/Vocational Training Institute accepted by Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission for a post related to Technical field.

AND

At least 15 years experience in the required area of specialization.

 

Environmental officer-/Social officer

Required Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s Degree in the relevant field which is recognized by the university Grants Commission.

Or

A certificate of proficiency not below the National Vocational Qualification 07 , issued by a Technical/Vocational Training Institute accepted by Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission for a post related to Technical field.

AND

At least 03 years experience in the required area of specialization.

  • A certificate of proficiency not below the National Vocational Qualification 06 , issued by a Technical/Vocational Training Institute accepted by Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission for a post related to Technical field.

AND

At least 08 years experience in the required area of specialization.

 

  •    A certificate of proficiency not below the National Vocational Qualification 05 , issued by a Technical/Vocational Training Institute accepted by Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission for a post related to Technical field.

AND

At least 13 years experience in the required area of specialization.

 

Project Secretary

Required Qualifications:

Having Passed the G.C.E.(O/L) examination in six subjects with three credit passes including English and Sinhala/Tamil language.

With

A Secretarial course from a recognized institution or pursuing examinations leading to chartered secretary.

With

Minimum 05 years experience in relevant field.

 

At least 04 years experience as a chartered secretary in relevant field.

 

Age Limit: Not more than 65 years on the closing date of application
